[8:46] Surfwidow Beaumont shouts: When you see Mark about with his camcorder - i spotted him at SFL with his hat on back to front ;) filming and i have seen his video work for the cancer charity island, on top of that he manages to remain a player in all this around us and was a key negotiator with the Blake Sea concept only the videos of that time when we almost lost all this remain to prove it ever happened all those protests those sad frightening times are gone (for now) - thank goodness - but the videos remain an archive of what transpired and all those that have taken part

[8:47] Surfwidow Beaumont shouts: I like to think the video making has helped increase the enthusiasm in sailing that was really quite cliquey back in the day thats now such an open and exciting thing for all to take part in. I like to think Mark's videos have help make this happen and show that a newbie who is frustrated with his (or her) boat can wacth a video and think WOW!!! if i dont give up i can do that too.
[8:47] Surfwidow Beaumont shouts: Mark has gone from strength to strength in his skills set, and although i may shoot some stuff now and again and try an be a bit 'flash' LOL the truth is Mark is the documentary maker the one that not only records edits (a hidden skill that can take weeks to do) and publishes but he narrates and educates in his films too. Something my MTV style films do not ;)
